Your new role
As Planner, you will play a central role in planning, coordinating and monitoring construction and fit‑out programmes from early procurement stages through to handover. You will develop and maintain detailed short, and long term, programmes, working closely with project teams to agree sequencing and methodology, and actively track progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The role includes providing proactive advice on programme risks, resource requirements and improvement opportunities, while producing structured progress reports for senior management. With sites across the UK there will be a need to travel, this can be discussed further with the team regarding the needs of each project.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you’ll need demonstrable experience in a construction or fit‑out planning role within a busy delivery environment. A strong understanding of construction and fit‑out processes, including design development and procurement, is essential. You should be confident using planning software such as MS Project, Primavera or similar, with excellentmunication skills and strong attention to detail. A proactive, flexible approach and the ability to work independently while supporting wider project teams are key. Experience delivering timely reports at senior management level is required, with hotel or high‑end fit‑out experience beneficial.
