Maintenance Technician (Mechanical bias) £30k - £35k We are now looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician to join our busy Maintenance team. The succ essful candidate will be mechanically biased and will carry out electrical & Mechanical maintenance in order to maintain plant & equipment in our Foundry, fettling shop and heat treatment department as well as our CNC machining facilities. Key responsibilities: - Execute repair and maintenance activities according to best practice, engineering processes, procedures and safety regulations as directed - Assist the team in the implementation of H&S policies and procedures for maintenance and associated activities - Perform planned preventative maintenance across the site - Assist the team in order to improve equipment performance at the lowest possible cost. Qualifications & Skills: - HNC / ONC in Mechanical Engineering - Time Served Mechanical Apprentice - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics preferred but not essential - Willing Team player, creative & innovative Hours: This role is 37 hours working a 5 day-week and the standard hours are: Mon - Thurs 08:00 - 16:30 and Fridays - 08:00 - 13:00.
