Job Description
Due to significant growth, Sysco GB (whose operating companies are made up of Brakes, kff, Medina, Fresh Direct & Campbells Prime Meat) have an exciting new opportunity in the Central and Commercial HR Team. We’re now looking to recruit a HR Transformation Partner who will play a key role in supporting the delivery and implementation of HR Transformation projects, specifically the people related element part of M&A integration projects.
The role will be responsible for scoping and planning the key milestones and goals required to integrate all people related activities for new acquisitions into Sysco GB. You’ll manage the integration plan in line with agreed timescales and budget and will collaborate closely with the acquisition business HR lead on ensuring the key people integration activity is executed in line with Sysco values and ensures colleague engagement throughout the change.
The role sits within the Commercial & Central Functions HR Team and reports to the HR Director Commercial & Central Functions. This is a home-based role, however, will require some travel to sites across GB, so flexibility with travel and occasional overnight stays is required.
Key Responsibilities:
3. Scoping and planning the key milestones and goals required to integrate all people related activities for new acquisitions into Sysco GB.
4. The role holder will manage the integration plan in line with agreed timescales and budget and will collaborate closely with the acquisition business HR lead on ensuring the key people integration activity is executed in line with Sysco values and ensures colleague engagement throughout the change.
5. Key deliverables will include creating a transitional plan for alignment towards Sysco GB that includes employment terms, contracts, associated policies, benefits, processes, OD, HR compliance and HR systems integration.
6. The role holder will work in close partnership with HR COE teams (HR Ops/Resourcing/T&D/Comms/ER and Change) to ensure integration is in line with current GB work processes, systems, and employment legislation.
7. Works with Head of Change/team to develop approach to change and support a smooth cultural integration of the change – utilising change management tools and best practice approach.
8. Identify opportunities for structural alignment with HR acquisition partner and develop and deliver organisation design – as required.
9. Identify L&D requirements and supporting interventions for line manager upskilling.
10. Partner CoEs to deliver programmes aligned to the overall HR strategy.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
The successful candidate will currently be working at a generalist HR Partner level (CIPD Level 5 qualified) with specific experience in HR project /HR change and transformation management, previous M&A project experience would also be advantageous. Experience of working in manufacturing, production, supply chain environments is preferred, although this is not essential. A key role where HR change and project experience is required as well as an understanding of HR principles, processes, and employment law. You’ll be highly competent using MS Office, HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and data tools to support data insight and analytics, driving great decision-making. We’re looking for a HR Professional with the ability and tenacity to manage multiple complex tasks, meet deadlines and is comfortable working at pace. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities. You need to be a strong and persuasive communicator, with confident presentation skills and the ability to have a positive impact across stakeholders at all levels. Through your previous HR transformation experience you’ll clearly demonstrate enabling change and having a passion for creating the right organisational culture.
