We are currently seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team and provide exceptional care for a young male with autism who is subject to the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
Your new role
1. Personalised Care: Provide person-centred support to our client, ensuring their safety, well-being, and quality of life.
2. Life Skills Development: Encourage and assist the individual in developing essential life skills.
3. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and implement necessary precautions to keep the client safe.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records and reports related to the client’s care and progress.
What you'll need to succeed
5. Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with autism is preferred.
6. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in health and social care or a related field.
7. Understanding of DoLS: Familiarity with the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and their application.
8. Empathy and Patience:passion and patience are essential qualities for this role.
9. Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team andmunicate openly.
