Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences within our restaurant. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that guests receive outstanding service while enjoying their meals. Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
* Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all requests are met.
* Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
* Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, adhering to food safety standards.
* Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring high standards of culinary quality.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and utensils.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order delivery.
* Process payments accurately and efficiently at the end of each meal service.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions and calculating bills accurately.
* Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* A positive attitude with strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
