The Role: As a Secondary TA, you will: Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where required) Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons Provide 1:1 and small group support, including supporting students with additional needs Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Support students’ academic progress and emotional wellbeing Contribute to creating a positive and safe learning environment We’re Looking For: Previous experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential) Strong communication and interpersonal skills A patient, proactive, and flexible approach Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff A genuine passion for education and supporting learning Requirements To be considered for the role of a TA you will: A strong interest in education and working with young people. A degree or equivalent education. Excellent communication and organisation skills. A positive, resilient, and adaptable attitude. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
