Are you an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next opportunity in Worthing?
GSL Education are seeking a committed HLTA to join a welcoming school in Worthing. This role is perfect for someone who can provide whole-class cover, deliver small group interventions, and support teaching staff in raising pupil achievement.
Key Responsibilities of the Higher Level Teaching Assistant:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher.
* Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of pupils.
* Assist in planning and assessing learning activities.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
* Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Requirements for the Higher Level Teaching Assistant role:
* HLTA qualification or proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
* Ability to cover whole classes confidently and effectively.
* Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.
* A flexible and proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
