Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Resolutions Officer for a Local Authority Client in Wembley.
In this role, you will provide housing advice, support move-on from temporary accommodation, and manage tenancy and safeguarding issues.
Duties:
* Advise and support households in temporary accommodation to move into settled housing.
* Carry out suitability assessments, tenancy checks, and investigate breaches or misuse.
* Manage safeguarding, domestic violence, and risk-related housing cases.
* Liaise with landlords, providers, and agencies to resolve accommodation and tenancy issues.
Qualifications and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
Experience providing advice and support to vulnerable customers or households.
Knowledge of homelessness, housing issues, and temporary accommodation.
Experience with suitability assessments, tenancy management, or related enforcement.
Skills in negotiation, advocacy, and resolving complex housing cases.
What's on offer:
Salary: £21ph
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
