The Finance Administrator supports the whole team with daily administrative and accounting tasks. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable working with numbers in a fast-paced environment. What we offer Full training and ongoing support Clear progression opportunities within the team Friendly and supportive work environment Competitive salary Your future role Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Raise and issue invoices; follow up on outstanding payments Maintain accurate records and data entry Process expense claims, stock control and raise purchase orders Prepare and file documents and records Support month-end processes under supervision Respond to internal and external business-related queries by managing incoming calls, emails, plus incoming and outgoing correspondence Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to support operational delivery Support job administration, scheduling and coordination where required, including preparing documents, reports, and correspondence Liaise with local Water Companies. Meet and greet visitors Required skills Previous experience in finance or accounts administration role Accounting or finance studies (preferred but not essential) Basic understanding of accounting principles Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy. Strong Organisational Skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to handle confidential information professionally Strong communication and teamwork skills Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with team members, clients and suppliers.
