Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a 1: to 1 Teaching Assistant who can effectively support a primary school setting in Rotherham on a regular basis commencing September 2024.
As a 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant, your role will include:
1. Support students on a 1 to 1 basis or in small groups to ensure they receive tailored support and education
2. Supporting the teacher with general classroom preparation and activities
3. Tracking student progress against their individual progress plans
4. Building rapport and trust with students
5. Maintain a collaborative and positive relationship with the class teacher
To be successful in the 1 to 1 Teaching Assistant role, you must:
6. Hold eligibility to work (ETW) in the UK
7. Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad)
8. Previous experience in an SEN/ SEND/ 1 to 1 role
9. Previous experience working with KS1 or KS2 students
10. A good understanding of how to support SEN/ SEND students
11. Be available full time
