An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Band 3 Clinical Support Worker posts to work within our team in the Main Outpatient Department at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.
Positions available: 32 hours per week and 24 hours per week.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team, providing high-quality, compassionate, patient-focused care within the Main Outpatient Department at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
It would be desirable if you possess an NVQ 2/3 in Health & Social Care.
Previous experience in an outpatient or clinical setting is an advantage.
Working under supervision, you will be required to work flexibly within the team to support clinical service delivery within the department.
You must possess excellent communication, IT, and customer care skills and demonstrate an ability to work both independently and as part of the wider team.
We operate from three main hospitals: Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as several community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.
FGH and RLI offer a range of general hospital services, including Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, and various consultant-led services.
WGH provides general hospital services, an Urgent Treatment Centre, and can assist with non-life-threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.
All three hospitals provide planned care services, including outpatient clinics, diagnostics, therapies, day cases, and inpatient surgeries. Additionally, outreach services and diagnostics are provided across community facilities in Morecambe Bay.
