Main duties of the job
To support the management and development of the prescribingsystems to ensure safe, effective, and quality prescribing within the surgery.
To work closely with the Clinical Pharmacist for prescribing onindividual prescribing projects or audits.
To develop strong working relationships with local communitypharmacies to assist patients and provide a high-quality service.
To act as lead contact for any complex prescribing queries onbehalf of the network.

Be responsible for remaining up to date withtraining course CPD
To participate in clinical supervision
Clinical Responsibilities:
Highlight any gaps in knowledge/training to themanagement team
Remain up to date with clinical guidelines toensure practice remains evidence based
Work In line with organisational policies andprocedural guidelines
Attend and participate in meetings when required
Clinical Governance:
Ensure accurate and legible notes of allconsultations and treatments are recorded promptly in the patients notes onSystmOne.
Ensure the safety of patients, relatives andcolleagues and to report all incidents and near misses in line with the riskmanagement policy
Remain up to date with mandatory training
Maintain confidentiality at all times
Person Specification
Qualifications
* GCSE Grade A to C in Maths and English
* NVQ Level 3 / BTECH in Pharmacy Services or equivalent nationally recognised qualification

* Evidence of experience in Primary Care and the Prescribing Processes in Primary Care

* Experience of having to prioritise caseload/manage own time effectively
* Experience of managing change and conflict situations
* Clinical Auditing Experience
