IT Support Technician II – Advanced Manufacturing Environment

I’m currently partnering with a highly advanced precision manufacturing company operating in the Aerospace, Defense, Electronics, and Commercial sectors. This is a technology-driven environment leveraging automation, robotic systems, and real-time quality tracking — and they’re looking for a strong IT Support Technician II to help drive their infrastructure forward.
This isn’t a basic helpdesk role. You’ll play a key part in maintaining and improving a secure, modern IT environment within a regulated manufacturing setting.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Supporting and administering Windows Server (2008+)
* Managing Active Directory & Group Policy
* Networking support (wired/wireless, switching & routing fundamentals)
* Administering Hyper‑V environments
* Supporting Microsoft 365 (Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
* Managing hybrid identity and directory sync
* Supporting Windows 10/11 endpoints and hardware troubleshooting
* Working within a helpdesk/ticketing system
* Leveraging AI tools for troubleshooting, documentation, and automation
* Supporting a compliance-driven, ITAR-regulated environment
What They’re Looking For:
* 5+ years progressive IT support or systems administration experience
* Strong troubleshooting ability and independent working style
* Experience in secure, regulated or compliance-heavy environments (CMMC exposure a plus)
* PowerShell or scripting experience preferred
* Exposure to VPNs, secure remote access, and manufacturing systems a bonus
* Experience supporting CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks, Mastercam) is highly beneficial
