Responsibilities
* Create and deliver captivating English lessons that stretch student's thinking and ignite a love for literature.
* Support the development of strong writing, analytic, and speaking skills across all year groups.
* Lead and contribute to enrichment opportunities such as poetry slams, reading clubs, and school publications.
* Track student progress carefully and adapt support strategies to help each learner reach their full potential.
* Contribute to shaping the curriculum and support whole-school literacy initiatives.
Requirements
* Must hold QTS/PGCE/QTLS
* Strong subject knowledge in English language and literature.
* Proven experience delivering English lessons at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) levels.
* Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
* Two up-to-date professional references from recent roles within education.
* Proficient in leveraging technology to enhance engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
