Community Stroke - North East
This post has the potential to offer rotations/experience within other Neuro services across Lincolnshire.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Lincolnshire Stroke Service (LSS) as a dynamic, ambitious, and forward-thinking Physiotherapist. The role involves working across acute and community settings, with a focus on neurological rehabilitation for stroke patients. Candidates with demonstrable experience in the neurological field, a willingness to learn, and a passion for improving patient outcomes are encouraged to apply.
LSS provides a seamless pathway from acute inpatient care at Lincoln County Hospital to community delivery across four bases countywide. The post is hosted by Lincolnshire Community Health Services (LCHS), requiring the ability to travel and access to a vehicle. Rotations between other neuro services can be discussed at interview.
The role includes participation in the therapy weekend cover rota and requires a full driving license.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver patient-centred rehabilitation tailored to individual needs and recovery stages.
2. Work as an autonomous practitioner undertaking specialist assessments and evidence-based treatments.
3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including consultants, nurses, psychologists, and other therapists.
4. Develop and implement individual rehabilitation programs based on patient outcomes.
5. Contribute to service development, including training, guidelines, and innovations.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in neurological physiotherapy.
* Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
