We are currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Bromley. As a Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for buying all of products for resale. This role includes new supplier on-boarding and implementation, managing terms, importing, stock management and product quality management.
Responsibilities:
* New supplier set up
* Onboarding process for new suppliers
* Supplier Management / supplier review
* Payment terms, supplier terms
* Placing stock PO's, follow up for timely delivery
* Placing direct delivery PO's, follow up for timely delivery
* Processing direct PO's ready for invoicing
* Sourcing / price checks - current suppliers
* Routine cost improvements - current suppliers
* Maintain cost saving records
* Maintain stock level targets
* Forecasting stock items
* Manage stock complaints / quarantine
* Annual Stock Take
* Typically this will involve managing deadlines with global suppliers
Requirements
* Good knowledge of the supply chain process
* Good at creative problem-solving skills
* Strong negotiator
* Excellent organisational skills including work prioritisation
* Ability to communicate with team members and suppliers of products or services.
* Knowledge of ERP systems. Sage would be a plus.
* Excellent knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. Tables Queries and Macros would be a plus.
* Previous experience in the packaging market (desirable)
* Experience with importing, understanding of incoterms (essential).

* Basic understanding of business finance / cashflow
Hours: Mon – Friday 8am – 5pm
