We are seeking a Finance Manager on an interim basis for 3–4 months to support financial operations, reporting, and business decision-making.
This is a hands-on role offering exposure across a variety of finance functions, including management accounts, compliance, audit, and operational finance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and review management accounts with variance analysis and commentary
2. Process journals, including payroll, accruals, and prepayments
3. Maintain fixed asset records and submit necessary reconciliations
4. Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations (Bank, Payroll, Debtors, Creditors, etc.)
5. Monitor and resolve customer and supplier claims
6. Ensure accurate supplier reconciliations and report discrepancies
7. Support audit preparation and provide financial data to auditors
8. Assist with statutory reporting and tax computations
9. Complete required financial surveys and filings
Qualifications & Experience
10. Ideally fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or working towards qualification
11. Minimum 3 years’ finance experience
12. Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards (UK GAAP / IFRS)
13. Experience with month-end processes, reconciliations, and VAT
14. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
