Business Development Executive – Printing (Progression Opportunity)
Merseyside (Hybrid Working Considered)
Salary: Up to £35,000 basic + £5,000 commission potential
Reports to: Managing Director

The Role
As Business Development Executive, you’ll focus on developing new business and nurturing lasting client partnerships. Working closely with the Managing Director, you’ll identify potential customers, understand their needs, and promote the company’s end-to-end print solutions.
You’ll be given the tools, training, and support to grow into a confident print sales professional – ideal if you already understand print processes and want to move into a more client-facing, commercially driven role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute plans to win new business and open fresh markets.
* Build relationships with clients across sectors such as retail, leisure, and manufacturing.
* Promote the company’s print capabilities (litho, digital, wide-format, finishing).
* Prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations tailored to client needs.
* Attend exhibitions and networking events to identify new opportunities.
* Report regularly on activity and pipeline development.
About You
Essential:
* Background in the printing industry (e.g. sales support, estimating, production, or account management).
* Enthusiasm for developing your career in sales and business development.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Confident, self-motivated, and proactive in seeking new opportunities.
* Organised, with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities.
Desirable:
* Experience in B2B sales or account management.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
* Understanding of litho, digital, or large-format printing processes.
