Job Overview
King’s College is seeking a dedicated and innovative Librarian to lead our vibrant School Library. As a key member of the academic team, reporting to the Deputy Head (Academic), the Librarian will play an essential role in cultivating a reading culture and supporting pupil research across the school.
This is a leadership position with responsibility for managing the Library as a central hub of academic enrichment, promoting reading for pleasure, overseeing
the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) in the Sixth Form, and championing the use of both printed and digital resources. You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of
English and other Heads of Department to ensure that our Library reflects the needs of staff and pupils alike.
Working hours: 33 term time weeks plus 1 week, Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm with 1 hour for lunch.
