NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership - Specialist Estates Services (NWSSP-SES) is an organisation committed to championing patient centred sustainable healthcare environments. We achieve this by providing professional and technical estates related services to the NHS Capital, Estates & Facilities team in the Health, Social Care and Early Years Group at the Welsh Government and NHS Wales organisations.
This opportunity has arisen within the organisation’s Property function which provides a broad range of property support through a small team of chartered property surveyors.

As part of the role you will produce computerised CAD drawings, plans and maps (for the Land and Property Portfolio – an estate terrier), digitise plans, produce plans/maps relating to all aspects of property management for Specialist Estates Services, Health Boards, Trusts and the Welsh Government and assist in the development of Geographical Information System (GIS) mapping for NHS Wales. You will also input estate data into spreadsheets and databases and interrogate the same as required.

A high standard of general education is required to a minimum of GCSE level or equivalent (to include grades of C or above in English and Maths) and NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent level of education in a subject incorporating a significant element of Computer Aided Design (CAD). Experience in the use of GIS is desirable.
