Overview
We are a well-established and growing family run window and door supply and installation company based in Leicestershire, known for delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. As our business continues to expand, we are looking for a hands-on Company Accountant to take ownership of our day-to-day finance function and support the directors with financial reporting and planning.
The role
This is a key position within the business, offering a varied and hands-on role across financial reporting, cashflow management, payroll and operational finance. You will work closely with the directors to help support business growth and improve financial processes.
Key responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Managing purchase and sales ledger
* VAT returns and compliance
* Cashflow forecasting
* Bank reconciliations
* Supporting budgeting and forecasting
* Project costing and margin analysis
* Liaising with external accountants
* Payroll
* Improving financial systems and reporting
Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Strong Excel skills
* Experience with accounting software (Xero preferred)
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently
* Experience in construction or trade environment desirable

£40,000 / £48,000 (Plus bonus) Depending on experience
