Secondary Behaviour Teaching Assistant – Person Specification
If you have a 2:1 or above degree, a passion for working with children and a real desire to pursue a career in education, we would like to hear from you! Ideally you will have some experience of working with children/young people. This role includes supporting teachers and students that display challenging behaviour, so you will need a determined and resilient personality.
Secondary Behaviour Teaching Assistant – About the role
This exciting role will see you working across the school supporting teachers. Some students at the school display challenging behaviour, you will work with these children to support their learning and understand how to assist them. You will receive excellent training from the school and use strategies to ensure the child’s learning is not disrupted. Aside from this you will be involved of all aspects of school life including extra-curricular activities! If you have a subject specialism (e.g Maths, Science) the school will utilise this knowledge to provide extra 1:1 sessions for children who need extra support.
