Duties
* Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive team environment.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
* Manage daily operations, including reservations, customer service, and order fulfilment.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the premises.
* Organise staff schedules and coordinate shifts to optimise service efficiency.
* Monitor inventory levels and oversee stock control to minimise waste and control costs.
* Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction.
* Implement training programmes to enhance team skills in hospitality, food safety, and service delivery.
* Collaborate with suppliers and manage procurement processes for kitchen supplies and ingredients.
* Maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to excellent hospitality.
Experience
* Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
* Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards.
* Familiarity with culinary practices including food production and kitchen management.
* Previous experience in hospitality management roles such as hotel or barista experience is advantageous.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced setting.
* Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to food service establishments.
