THE ROLE
Your main tasks will be:
1. Lead and deliver innovation engineering projects.
2. Provide day to day engineering problem solving support.
3. Identify and execute cost saving opportunities through engineering proposals.
4. Partner and build effective working relationships with R&D and equipment suppliers.
5. Support continuous improvement activities alongside local and global functions such as marketing, R&D, procurement, and operations.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
We’d love to see candidates who have:
6. B.S. Degree in an Engineering Discipline
7. 0 to 2 years of working experience. Any experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, contributing to root cause problem solving, Lean Manufacturing practices and/or continuous improvement is a plus.
8. Knowledge of a variety of manufacturing processes, methodologies and mathematical/engineering methods to solve problems in a manufacturing environment, (know the tools such as poka yoke / mistake proofing / pFMEA, SMED, 5S, ect., familiar with Key Performance Indicator reporting, Loss Tree, 5-whys, etc.)
9. Advanced Office packages skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
10. Fluency in English and ideally in French, Spanish or Portuguese
11. Able to communicate efficiently, Good team worker but also able to work autonomously
