Are you an experienced manager with a passion for people? Do you have proven experience in developing staff teams and implementing change? Do you have experience in working with vulnerable people?
We are looking for a Service Manager to lead the staff team across our Homelessness services in Westminster London.
While the successful applicant will have practical experience in change management, they will also be enthusiastic, a good communicator, passionate and positive.
The post covers No 10, a day service based at our site at Regent Hall on Oxford Street. Also, St Ann’s service offering support to those recently discharged from hospital and clients aged over 18, experiencing homelessness.
Key Responsibilities: This role is vital to the success of the projects providing leadership and inspiration to the staff and encouraging an enabling environment, leading in trauma informed practice within the values of The Salvation Army.
The successful candidate will; provide Christian spiritual leadership at a service level, be prepared to pray with people in the course of their role, engage in worship and speak in open discussion about spiritual matters relating to the service.
Homelessness Services requires the post-holder to have a personal faith out of which personal discernment and reflection can be added to the required in a Christian based organisation.
The role requires liaison with the Local Authority and NHS Commissioners and other agencies and stakeholders as well as internal and external missional partners.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:

2. Proven experience of managing teams
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Knowledge of health and safety
5. Understanding of funding in supported housing
6. Ability to build positive partnerships.
