About The Role:
Days of Working: Monday to Friday - 08:00am-16:30pm
Job Purpose:
To deliver high-quality painting and decorating services across domestic properties, ensuring all work is completed to a professional standard, on time, and in line with health and safety regulations. The role involves both interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, and finishing, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Painting & Decorating Tasks:
* Prepare surfaces by removing old paint, filling holes and cracks, sanding, and priming.
* Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Paint walls, ceilings, doors, windows, skirting boards, and other surfaces to a high standard.
* Carry out wallpapering and other decorative finishes as required.
* Ensure all surfaces are protected during work using dust sheets, masking tape, and other materials.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience in domestic painting and decorating.
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Painting & Decorating (desirable).
* Knowledge of various painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing methods.
* Experience working in occupied properties and managing customer expectations.
* Ability to work at heights and use access equipment safely.
* Full UK driving licence
