Job Description

We work with government, local councils, water companies, businesses, and communities to make our environment cleaner, safer, and healthier.


Roles & Contract Types

There are 8 open positions: 1 permanent and 7 fixed‑term contracts. Contract lengths vary depending on the role you apply for.


Responsibilities

* Support the smooth running of projects, programmes, and portfolios using P3M processes.
* Coordinate planning, scheduling, governance, and reporting activities.
* Maintain clear, accurate project documentation.
* Support risk, issue, resource, and financial management.
* Help drive assurance processes and uphold delivery standards.
* Provide strong organisational, logistical, and administrative support.
* Enable confident decision‑making through clear information and communication.
* Share best practice to strengthen project delivery across teams.
* Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team environment.
* Be available to respond to incidents and provide business continuity support during incidents.


Qualifications & Skills

* Previous experience as a Project Support Officer or in a comparable coordinating administrative role.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines accurately.
* Comfortable working with data; able to analyse information and present it clearly for different audiences.
* Adaptable and resilient, responding positively to changing priorities.
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills; confident in engaging constructively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Willingness to learn new digital tools quickly.
* Can work independently and as part of a team, bringing a can‑do attitude and taking ownership of your work.
* Commitment to continuous personal development, prioritising the enhancement of your skills and professional capability.

We provide development opportunities and appropriate training. For permanent and FTC appointments that are 18 months or longer, there is the option to complete an Association Project Manager Level 4 apprenticeship.
