Our Development team specialises in providing full‑lifecycle sustainable infrastructure solutions, from planning to detailed design and construction. We advise private and public sector clients on utilities, highways, public realm, sewerage, drainage, earthworks and flood protection across a wide range of high‑profile projects.
Responsibilities
* Lead a wide variety of utility projects, from local schemes to nationally significant developments.
* Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across the UK and internationally, ensuring efficient project delivery.
* Serve as the senior point of contact for the Development team and clients on key projects.
* Drive business growth by developing new client relationships and nurturing existing ones.
* Mentor and develop the growing team.
* Deliver a high level of commercial awareness, project/programme management and efficient problem solving.
* Provide the expected quality of service for our clients and uphold our professional reputation.
Qualifications
* Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartered Engineer status.
* Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
* Experience delivering utility connections, diversions and infrastructure strategies for small to large schemes.
* Strong understanding of electricity, gas, water and telecommunications networks in new development activities.
* Experience with Multi‑Utility planning, independent Distribution Network Operators, and commercial risk/opportunities.
* Ability to develop utility demand calculations for development needs.
* Proven leadership in managing multiple concurrent projects and organising teams.
* Excellent communication skills for engaging with professionals and delivering high‑quality reports.
* Experience directing BIM teams in the production of quality project models and design outputs.
* Proven client relationship management skills.
* Ability to obtain UK security clearance (SC).
