The Role We are seeking a Design Engineer to support the development and delivery of temporary works and ground engineering designs. This role suits an early-to-mid career engineer looking to progress within a reputable and collaborative technical team. Key Responsibilities Assist with soil parameter checks and ground investigation interpretation Support temporary works and foundation design activities Produce drawings using AutoCAD or MicroStation Work closely with senior engineers and external consultants Provide technical input to live construction operations Attend occasional site visits (driving licence required) What We’re Looking For Degree in Civil Engineering (ICE progression encouraged) Experience in ground engineering, temporary works, marine, water, or structural design Understanding of soil behaviour, structural loads, and water–ground interaction Proficient with AutoCAD/MicroStation and basic analysis tools (e.g., Wallap, Excel) Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple project teams Salary & Benefits £42,000 – £55,000 DOE car allowance or company car Hybrid working once established (3 days office / 2 days home) Pension, holiday allowance, healthcare options, and full company benefits If this role is of any interest, please don’t hessite to Apply
