We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Assistant to support our purchasing and supply chain operations. This role is ideal for someone highly organised, analytical, and confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the tender processes
* Raise and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
* Maintain and update supplier records and procurement databases
* Support contract administration and supplier performance reviews
* Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
* Prepare reports on purchasing activities, costs, and savings
Requirements:
* Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain within the public sector
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
