Warehouse Stock Controller People Solutions are proud to be recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Stock Controller within our client's well-established and growing organisation, offering a stable and fast-paced logistics environment based in Tamworth. This is a key role within the warehouse operation, ideal for an experienced Stock Controller looking to take ownership of inventory accuracy and play a central role in improving processes and supporting wider supply chain operations. Shifts: Monday - Friday: 8am – 4.30pm Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum Benefits include: Your benefits as a Warehouse Stock Controller will be: Monday to Friday working pattern Stable, long-term opportunity Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to influence processes and drive improvement Day-to-day duties: As a Warehouse Stock Controller, your duties will include (but not be limited to): Maintain accurate stock levels through cycle counts, reconciliation, and audits Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, ensuring system accuracy Manage the booking-in process for all incoming and returned goods Process stock movements within WMS/ERP systems (SAP experience advantageous) Coordinate returns, including rework and disposal of damaged goods Communicate with customers regarding returns and queries via phone and email Liaise with 3PL partners, Customer Service, Sales, and warehouse teams Raise customer credits where required Identify and implement improvements in stock control processes Support and mentor junior team members Essential skills: To be successful as a Warehouse Stock Controller, you will need: Minimum of five years' experience in stock control, inventory, or similar role Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical skills Confident communicator, both written and verbal Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (SAP or WMS experience desirable) Highly organised with the ability to manage workload independently Calm under pressure with a proactive, problem-solving approach Team player with the ability to work across departments Full training will be provided, with additional support throughout.
