The Role:
We are seeking a hands-on, commercially minded Senior HR Business Partner to lead the transformation of our HR function across multiple markets. This is a critical role in a high-growth, tech-driven organisation that’s in the process of modernising its entire HR tech stack and elevating the People function to meet commercial objectives.
You will be the most senior HR expert in the business - responsible for bridging the gap between high-level strategy and day-to-day delivery. You’ll own the operationalisation of HR strategy, lead business partnering efforts, and upskill a small team while rearchitecting HR processes, tools, and culture.
Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Delivery & Business Partnering
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership across all regions.
* Translate commercial goals and HR strategy into actionable, scalable HR operations.
* Lead on people planning in relation to business priorities such as RFPs, M&A (Netherlands), and regional growth.
* Build strong relationships with cross-functional leaders; embed HR as a proactive, commercial partner within the business.
* Take ownership of key workforce initiatives (e.g., performance management, workforce planning, organisational design).
Technology & Systems Implementation
* Lead and maintain the HR tech infrastructure including:
* Teamtailor (ATS)
* Zinc (background checking)
* Rippling or HiBob (HRIS)
Team Leadership & Capability Building
* Upskill existing HR staff in areas of commercial thinking, business partnering, and multi-market compliance.
* Build a high-performance, proactive HR culture; coach team members to develop confidence and capability.
* Lead by example in embedding a business-first, stakeholder-focused approach.
Operational HR & Compliance
* Ensure HR compliance across all operational jurisdictions (UK, EU, India, UAE, Ireland) — with strong emphasis on European employment law and understanding complexities of the Dutch market.
* Overhaul outdated, linear HR processes - streamline and automate for speed, efficiency, and impact.
Required:
* Proven experience in a senior HR role with strong business partnering exposure
* Experience working in high-growth or scaling environments
* Commercially sharp
* Tech-savvy and systems fluent
* Hands-on and proactive
* A change agent
* Comfortable navigating ambiguity, prioritising ruthlessly, and making data-led people decisions quickly.
