Ensure a safe home environment; responsibilities include cleaning, laundry, and cooking.


What do you need?

* Female only required for genuine occupational reasons as per schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
* Naturally caring, flexible, and resilient individuals.
* Passionate about supporting children to lead happy lives.
* Great communication skills, positive and energetic attitude.
* Experience in care or transferable skills such as mental health, education, sports, or working with vulnerable people.
* Ability to remain calm during challenging situations.
* Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
* Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and sleep-ins.

Support Worker Role

Salary from £27,581 per annum plus an additional £3,000 - £6,000 per annum for sleep-ins. Full-time, 39 hours per week, rolling shift pattern, 2 on 4 off. Full UK Driving Licence required.

Willow House is a 5-bedded residential children’s home in the South Downs, working with females aged 12-18 with complex needs including mental health, behavioural issues, and special educational needs. We use a therapeutic approach to support self-esteem, aspirations, and healthy attachments.
