About The Role
In your role as a Head Housekeeper at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all else. Kindness drives every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to those people.
As a Head Housekeeper, you will ensure that you and your team maintain a spotless home for our residents. You’ll manage the cleaning rota, lead by example, plan weekly laundry, order cleaning supplies, and stay updated on infection control procedures, always prioritizing residents’ wellbeing.
HC-One is looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper with proven leadership, record keeping, and time management skills. You should have excellent knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH regulations, and infection control. Most importantly, you should bring positive energy and a natural ability to communicate kindly and considerately with residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and to seek advice or escalate concerns when necessary.
We offer full training to support your development. In return, you will enjoy a range of benefits supporting your physical and psychological well-being, including:
* Hourly rate subject to experience and qualifications
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* A nutritious meal during shifts of eight hours or more
