Overview
A leading, established and highly successful provider of mechanical and electrical installation services to commercial and industrial buildings seek the solid appointment of an experienced and commercially talented Mechanical Project Manager from an M&E / Building Services Mechanical installation project management background to join their exciting 2026 planned growth and continued success.
Location
Candidates sought MUST be based or commutable to the Leeds, West Yorkshire area.
Responsibilities
* Manage mechanical installations into new build industrial sheds for warehousing & distribution or a variety of manufactured goods, with additional work on office blocks and data centres where applicable.
* Lead and organize projects with on-site mechanical installation engineers and other specialist mechanical engineers; liaise regularly with Site Managers, Supervisors and installation teams, under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager.
* Coordinate delivery and installation across multi-million pound schemes, ensuring quality, safety and programme requirements are met.
* Engage with main contractors where applicable and manage client-facing communications with professionalism and integrity.
* Contribute to the growth plans of the business by delivering projects on time and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships.
Qualifications / Experience
* Experience in M&E / Building Services background with direct project management and delivery of mechanical installations and services typical of commercial and industrial environments.
* Proven track record in managing and delivering schemes of this level and scale.
* Experience dealing with main contractors is advantageous.
* Ability to lead and coordinate with site teams and external engineering specialists; strong organisational and communication skills.
