At Wilderness Way, we do things differently. We believe that connection, care and creativity change lives – and we’re looking for a passionate Supply Teacher to bring that ethos into our specialist education setting.
Based in beautiful Lanark, our Scotland services support children age 8 to 18 with complex needs who may have experienced trauma or disruption in their lives. As a Supply Teacher, you’ll play a key role in building trust and inspiring learning – one child, one day, one breakthrough at a time.
What You'll Do:
* Deliver engaging, personalised lessons to individuals.
* Create a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
* Adapt teaching to meet individual needs and learning styles.
* Work closely with care and education teams to support holistic progress.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A passion for inclusive, trauma-informed education.
* Someone flexible, resilient and kind-hearted.
* Previous experience working with children with SEMH or complex needs (desirable but not essential).
Why Join Us?
* Opportunity to make a genuine impact every single week.
* Work in a stunning, rural setting with a therapeutic approach.
* Competitive daily rate of £110–£200, depending on experience.
* Be part of a supportive, values-led team who care deeply about what they do.
If you're looking to bring purpose, creativity and compassion into your teaching – even just one day a week – we’d love to hear from you.
