Colette Sadler (Stammer Productions), in collaboration with Feral, Generator Projects, Dundee Rep, Scottish Dance Theatre, and Dundee & Angus College, is offering 2 Associateship Bursaries for Dundee and Angus-based artists within the first 5 years of their professional practice. The Associateship provides a tailored package including a research and development bursary, mentorship, and an opportunity to present their work at Present Futures Dundee 2025.
RISOGRAPH PRINTING - IN ASSOCIATION WITH GENERATOR PROJECTS
This opportunity is open to emerging visual artists based in Dundee and Angus interested in exploring writing/image-making through Risograph printing, with the potential for publication. The Associateship aims to foster creative research that advances this practice and pushes the boundaries of Risograph and experimental publications.
CHOREOGRAPHIC PRACTICE - IN ASSOCIATION WITH SCOTTISH DANCE THEATRE AND DUNDEE & ANGUS COLLEGE
This opportunity is open to emerging dance artists and choreographers in Dundee and Angus to develop a performance idea, intervention, or choreographic sketch aligned with the themes of this year's Present Futures Festival.
The sixth edition of "Present Futures" will transition from its base at CCA in Glasgow to Dundee. Over two days, this satellite festival will feature local and international artists working across performance, music, and visual arts. Through performances, talks, and workshops, the festival aims to explore the complex relationships and interdependencies between humans and non-human entities as we face ecological transition and crises.
Present Futures Dundee is funded by Creative Scotland and supported by Generator Projects, Dundee Rep, Scottish Dance Theatre, and Dundee & Angus College.
