Purpose
:
The purpose of this role is to contribute to a winning women’s first team by developing Goalkeeper’s from its youth pathway. This will be achieved by creating the most successful girls’ academy by:
1. Revolutionising the way we nurture and maximise the potential of every Goalkeeper involved in our pathway.
2. Create a world-class environment.
3. Stretch and challenge Goal Keeper’s to maximize potential.
The Role:
4. Plan, prepare and deliver high quality training sessions.
5. Plan and prepare for each match with particular emphasis on the needs of each individual GK.
6. To always adhere to the Manchester United development & coaching ‘Redprint’ philosophy.
7. To engage fully in CPD events organised internally and externally.
8. Support player welfare.
9. To plan and deliver set play roles for match days.
10. Contribute towards a positive working environment.
11. To effectively work in conjunction with other departments.
12. Ensure compliance with the company’s safeguarding policy.
13. Potential hours:Monday 11am-7pmTuesday 11am-7pmWednesday – U21s Fixture Friday 10am – 6pm Saturday 8:45am-12:30pm

Knowledge:
19. Of the Women and Girls game
20. Goalkeeping principles
21. Set play profiling and taking responsibility for this in training and match days.
Experience:
22. Delivering goalkeeper specific sessions to a range of age groups
23. Working with elite Goalkeepers.
Skills:
24. Ability to motivate and inspire female Goalkeepers.
25. Deliver professional and high-quality goalkeeper sessions.
Qualifications:
26. Goalkeeping B Licence
27. Emergency First Aid in Football qualification
28. Valid Safeguarding Children certificate.
29. FA Youth Modules (Desirable)
