Overview
Nisbets Limited are currently recruiting for a Senior Group Product Manager to join our Group Own Brand team in Bristol and lead the performance of one or more of our own brands across global markets.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a brand portfolio with a turnover of £30m–£50m+, driving commercial success through strategic product management, supplier collaboration, and cross-functional leadership. This role is central to shaping our product offering, launching new products, and ensuring our brands remain competitive and compliant across regions.
You will lead New Product Introductions, optimise sourcing and commercial terms, and work closely with teams across quality, compliance, marketing, and logistics to deliver a world-class customer experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute and highly organised individual with a strong background in product or buying management.
This role will be based at our Bristol office, with flexibility to work from home as part of a hybrid working pattern after a period of training.
Key Accountabilities
* Lead and manage the performance of one or more own brands within 1–2 categories, with full accountability for sales, margin, cost, range, and competitiveness.
* Collaborate with global sourcing teams and suppliers to optimise buying strategies and improve commercial terms.
* Drive New Product Introductions and range planning, incorporating regional insights to build a compelling product offer.
* Champion cross-functional initiatives to enhance pricing, availability, marketing, and content.
* Ensure product compliance across markets and proactively respond to legislative changes and industry trends.
* Use data and market insights to set strategic plans for brand growth over the next 12–18 months.
* Lead or support Continuous Improvement initiatives across the business.
* Manage and develop one direct report.
Capabilities, Skills and Experience Required
* Substantial experience in buying or product management with strong commercial acumen.
* Proven ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Customer-focused with a logical approach to problem-solving.
* Experience in the catering category or similar is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication and leadership skills, with a passion for developing talent.
