ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Front of House & Retail Associate to join us at the Bamford Wellness Spa in South Kensington, London.

With excellent customer service experience and a warm and friendly personality you will greet all clients and ensure they receive a 5* star service whilst in the wellness space and live and breathe the Bamford philosophy to the highest professional standard.

This role is full time, based on 40 hours per week including weekends.

Salary £13.53 per hour plus commission.


RESPONSIBILITIES

* Deliver a warm, intuitive, and seamless 5-star guest experience across both spa reception and retail areas, ensuring every client feels welcomed, cared for, and well-informed.
* Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of all Bamford retail categories, including home fragrance, bath & body, skincare, wellness, homeware, and apparel, as well as all spa treatments and wellness events.
* Actively drive retail performance by confidently recommending products, converting browsing into sales, and supporting daily/weekly retail targets.
* Manage all spa and wellness bookings through our booking system, ensuring accuracy while supporting therapist scheduling to maximise occupancy and revenue.
* Liaise closely with the therapist team to ensure smooth daily operations, effective appointment flow, and an elevated guest journey.
* Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation across spa reception, treatment areas, retail floor, and refreshments area.
* Ensure all treatment and health questionnaires are completed accurately and stored in line with company procedures.
* Support the Spa Management Team with operational tasks, stock management, daily checklists, and other ad-hoc duties as required.
* Assist with spa and in-store events, including setup, hosting, and ensuring guests feel supported and engaged.
* Uphold Bamford’s values by championing conscious living, sustainability, and holistic wellbeing in all interactions.
* Contribute to our B Corp journey by driving meaningful environmental and social responsibility throughout day-to-day operations.


SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

* Experience within luxury retail or a Spa environment would be an advantage.
* Strong customer service and communication skills to provide an exceptional guest experience.
* A brand champion who believes wholeheartedly on the importance of the Bamford brand and products.
* Attention to detail for accurate stock management and inventory control.
* Strong organisational and time management skills for handling bookings and sales targets.
* Ability to handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, with a solution-oriented approach.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
* Natural multi-tasker with a can-do, flexible attitude & positive energy.
* Excellent communication skills are key to this role.
* Your professionalism and attitude will reflect the brand.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach and a proactive 'can-do' attitude
