We are recruiting an experienced and high-calibre Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a well-established countryside boutique hotel and inn.
This is a senior role suited to a chef who operates at a consistently high professional standard, with the ability to manage kitchen operations confidently while delivering quality, seasonal food.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage day-to-day kitchen operationsCreate and deliver seasonal British / European menusMaintain high standards across:Restaurant serviceHotel guestsWeddings & private eventsControl food cost, GP, stock levels, and wasteEnsure full compliance with UK food safety & hygiene regulationsTrain, manage, and motivate kitchen staffWork closely with management on menu planning and operations

Candidate RequirementsMinimum 5 years relevant professional kitchen experience (essential)Experience in recognised or reputable restaurants strongly preferredProven experience as a Head Chef, or a very strong Sous Chef ready to step upStrong background in British and European cuisineDemonstrates a high level of skill, professionalism, and consistencyCalm, organised, and reliable under pressureStrong leadership and communication skills
This role is not suitable for junior or entry-level candidates.
