Description We are seeking a qualified junior solicitor to join our legal team in a dual-capacity role supporting both corporate/commercial legal matters and regulatory compliance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a driven solicitor to develop expertise across corporate and commercial law while contributing to our regulatory and compliance framework. Key Responsibilities Corporate and Commercial Legal Support (60%) Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts including service agreements, NDAs, licensing agreements and supplier contracts. Provide legal advice on day-to-day corporate matters and business operations. Support corporate governance activities including board resolutions and company secretarial matters. Assist with commercial transactions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. Conduct legal research and provide practical commercial advice to internal stakeholders. Manage external counsel relationships for specialist matters. Compliance & Regulatory (40%) Work with the senior management team to ensure timely compliance by the business with its legal and regulatory obligations. Support the development, maintenance and rollout of compliance policies and procedures and work with the leadership team to promote a compliance culture within the business. Monitor regulatory developments, assess impact on business operations and provide advice on timely implementation. Assist with regulatory filing and reporting obligations and liaison with any applicable regulatory bodies. Act as the primary contact for regulatory bodies (including, where applicable, acting as the compliance/reporting officer as may be required under various legislation such as financial services, anti-money laundering, sanctions and data protection). Conduct compliance risk assessments, provide advice on controls to mitigate and support internal audit activities. Oversee and support due diligence process for third-party vendors, clients and business partners (AML/KYC/Sanctions). Provide training to business teams on regulatory requirements. Support incident management and regulatory breach investigations and maintain accurate and complete records.
