Corporate Account Managers
are responsible for working with existing clients and new clients to sell company products, including negotiating and closing long-term contracts. This role manages the renewals process from start to finish, collaborating with departments such as Sales, Legal, and Finance. Responsibilities also include contract negotiations, updating sales force automation, and managing all aspects of prospecting and sales renewals.
The role involves:
* Prospecting within assigned territory to generate leads and grow pipeline opportunities
* Selling and promoting SaaS solutions to new accounts
* Developing and executing strategic opportunity plans to meet quotas
* Maintaining integrity and ethical behavior
* Ensuring client satisfaction
* Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to share ideas and strategies
* Utilizing multiple communication methods
* Effective time management and territory planning
* Understanding client needs through questioning
* Mentoring and sharing best practices within the organization
* Learning from colleagues and clients to improve sales strategies
Requirements:
* Experience managing end-to-end sales cycles
* 1-3 years in BDR or quota-carrying sales roles, preferably in software solutions
* Knowledge of contact management solutions
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
* Willingness to travel for client meetings and conferences
* Effective communication with teammates, colleagues, and clients
* Ability to understand and communicate complex concepts
* Problem-solving skills
* Proficiency with technology tools
* Proactive learning attitude
