SEN Teaching Assistants Wanted - Chorley
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We're currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of mainstream and specialist schools across the region.
About the Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting students with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social/emotional challenges. You'll work closely with teaching staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support
Assist with classroom activities and learning plans
Help manage behaviour and promote positive social interactions
Support pupils with personal care (where required)
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionalsRequirements:
Relevant SEN experience in an educational or care setting
A calm, patient and empathetic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ideally hold a relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Teaching Assistant Diploma, or equivalent)What We Offer:
