PAY RATE: £15.90 PER HOUR

Rates of Pay:
* Basic: £15.90 per hour
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
* Delivering and installing goods to the end user locations as part of a two person delivery team
* Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
* Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
* Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
* Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed
Essential Skills
As a Class 2 Driver you will need to:
* Hold a valid UK Category C Licence
* Hold a valid CSCS card
* Have experience in delivering to difficult locations
* Be a team player with a willingness to learn
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
* Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
* Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
* Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
* Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
* Effective communication skills
Desirable Experience
* Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
* Previous experience using mechanical and non-mechanical moving & handling equipment would be an advantage
* Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial
Training
* Full system training will be provided as goods are tracked via PDA scanners.
* Training for the use of stair walkers etc. can be provided.
