If you are an EHS expert with experience as an Advisor/Manager in an intense manufacturing setting looking for extra responsibilities and scope to potentially grow into a global role then this is the role for you.
The role
* Build a strong safety culture within the UK operation, with responsibility for producing the EHS training guide and supporting on EHS strategy
* Define and prevent risk for employees and guests, partner with HR and site management to limit risk on site
* Meet all EHS reporting requirements and meet ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications by developing audit programmes and sustainability reports
* Investigate all incidents relating to EHS and implement necessary corrective actions
* Support site teams to improve EHS performance by setting a behavioural-led culture
What you will need
* A Degree or equivalent qualification in occupational safety
* Experience in an engineering/manufacturing setting as a Health and Safety Manager/Advisor
* Must have a valid driving licence
* Extensive environmental knowledge ideally partnered with an environmental qualification
