Contract manager

Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a Civil Engineering background? Peaple Talent are working with a well-established and civil engineering Tier 1 contractor that is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join their growing regional team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of multiple civil engineering projects, leading high-performing teams and building strong client relationships.

Location: Midlands, Rotherham

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Car Allowance + 10% bonus

The role

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of schemes from early planning through to completion, managing teams of up to 20 people and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

What we're looking for

• Experience delivering multiple civil engineering projects or major highways schemes
• Strong leadership and people management experience
• Good understanding of NEC3/NEC4 contractsi>i>
• Civil Engineering background with proven industry experience
• Ability to build strong client and stakeholder relationships

Desirable

• Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC)
• Appointed Person (Lifting Operations)
