Your new company Hays are partnering with a leading organisation within the energy sector to recruit an interim Procurement Officer for a 12-month assignment. The role will be based across their Northern Ireland sites, supporting major operational activities and working closely with a well-established procurement team. Your new role As Procurement Officer, you will work with key stakeholders to source and procure a wide range of goods and services, ensuring value for money and adherence to internal procurement policies and processes. You will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, run competitive tenders, negotiate commercial and contractual terms, and ensure value is delivered throughout contract execution. You will also be responsible for supplier relationship management, resolving contractual issues, identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvements, and maintaining procurement systems. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams, including HSEQ, to ensure a safe and high-performing supply chain.
