Nursery Practitioners Needed – Walker, Newcastle
Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Nursery Practitioner with a passion for early childhood development? A welcoming and supportive nursery in Walker, Newcastle is looking to recruit three practitioners to start in the final week of January.
The nursery is seeking:
* 1 Full-Time Practitioner for the Pre-School Room
* 1 Full-Time Practitioner for the Toddler Room
* 1 Part-Time Practitioner for the Baby Room

About the Roles
Positions:
* 2 × Full-Time

Start Date: Final week of January
Location: Walker, Newcastle
Job Type: Permanent/ongoing roles within the nursery
Key Responsibilities
* Support children’s development in line with the EYFS framework
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging activities
* Work collaboratively with room leaders and other staff
* Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and independence
* Build strong, supportive relationships with children, staff, and parents
* Adhere to safeguarding, health & safety, and all nursery policies
Requirements
* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience in an early years setting (preferred but not essential)
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Friendly, professional, and flexible approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
