About The Role
As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll focus on Indirect Procurement Categories in IT, HR, and Factory Services. Your responsibilities include meeting with suppliers, supporting contract negotiations & tenders, RFIs, and implementing supplier agreements.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing RFI, RFQ, and ITT documents
* Source new Suppliers and Materials
* Implement Supplier Agreements
* Negotiate with Suppliers
* Implement Category Plans
About You
Ideally, you will have experience in Procurement, including supplier selection & negotiations, contract and tender management. We seek someone ambitious eager to learn, with opportunities for technical and skills-based progression within our company.
Key Skills
* Previous experience in a Procurement role as a Specialist, Coordinator, Assistant, or similar.
* Knowledge of Indirect Procurement Categories, Supplier Negotiation, Contract Management & Tendering, with a client-facing mindset.
* MCIPS Qualification / equivalent or working towards it is beneficial but not essential.
The role is based at our Birmingham Head Office, with an expectation of being on-site 2-3 days per week.
